 Safety as the Highest Priority
Vanaz auto LPG Dispensing stations are provided with numerous safety features which protect the system from hazards and mishandling. Vanaz Auto LPG Dispensing Station is designed with all fail safe interlocks to prevent occurence of accidents.

Dispenser
Auto LPG dispensers are designed in such a way that until the nozzle is connected to the filler connector of the vehicle in a correct way, LPG will not flow through the nozzle even if the filling operation is put ON

Emergency Stop
Vanaz Auto LPG stations are provided with an easily accessible emergency stop buttons that enable shuting OFF the entire Dispensing system. Once OFF the system can only be started after resetting from the control panel. There are in total three emergency stop buttons provided in the system. One on the dispenser, One on the Control panel and one near the fill point for unloading

Dispensing OR Unloading
In Auto LPG Dispensing stations as per SMPV Rules, the dispensing operation and unloading should not be carried out simultaneously. In order to comply with this, Vanaz Auto LPG Dispensing Stations are provided with a selector switch by which the system is either in dispensing mode or in unloading mode.

Pressure
Dispensing Stations are provided with pressure gauges, which indicate the pressure of LPG in the line. However it is not possible to keep a constant check on the pressure gauges and confirm that the pressure is within the acceptable range. The simplest way to protect from high pressure is to provide pressure relief devices called Thermal Safety Relief Valves (TSRV). In addition to these TSRV's Vanaz stations are provided with pressure transmitter. This transmitter is provided with an acceptable pressure range. When the system pressure goes beyond the set pressure range (both low and high pressure), the transmitter gives a signal to the control panel and the system is shut OFF indicating pressure problem.

Protection from corrosion
The Tank as well as the LPG piping is protected from corrosion. Tank is separately protected from corrosion by providing a Cathodic protection. Sacrificial anodes are provided for Cathodic protection of underground storage tank for a life span of 15 years. The piping system is protected from corrosion by providing a corrosion resistant coating on the burried LPG pipes running through trenches.

85% Fill limiter of storage tank
The LPG storages vessels are essentially not to be filled beyond 85 % of the tank(water) capacity. To ensure this, the storage tank is provided with a High level alarm which indicates upper fill limit of the tank. Vanaz Auto LPG Dispensing Station are installed with a high level switch which gives an alarm for high level and also shuts OFF the unloading operations thus eliminating possibility of over filling.

Vehicle Impact to Dispensers
In an extreme case if a vehicle drives straight to the dispenser, the dispenser may be knocked down which may cause LPG leakages and severe hazard. To avoid this as per PESO regulations, bollards are provided around the periphery of the dispenser. If at all the dispenser is knocked down by accident, the dispenser inlet is provided with remote operated valves, which protects the system from heavy leakage hazard. As an additional safety, a pipe shear section is provided below the dispenser. This will not allow LPG leakage.

Vehicle Runaway
There is a chance that during the filling operation the vehicle may run away with the nozzle still fitted on the vehicle,In such a case, to save the dispenser the nozzle is provided with a breakaway coupling which breaks and closes both ends thus avoiding leakage of LPG in pipeline at both ends.
